DUB REU Research Intern (June 2024 - August 2024)

  • Researching under Dr. Anat Caspi at the Taskar Center for Accessible Technology.

  • Through the DUB program, attended weekly seminars and lunches to learn about different applications of engineering and computer science, especially regarding AI.

  • Used Python and SQL queries to create a Python script that analyzes the completeness and accuracy of Prophet AI predictions of pedestrian features.

    • Worked with Keya Gillenwater to create this tool.​

MiT multicultural potluck (March 2024).

Minorities in Technology​ (MiT)

  • Vice Chair (June 2024 - present)

    • Work on administrative tasks over 2024 Summer.​

  • Webmaster (January 2024 - June 2024)

    • Managed and updated the MiT website.​

    • Assisted with event planning (ex: MiT Spring Movie Night).

    • Collaborated with fellow officers at weekly leadership meetings.

Honors Program Peer Facilitator (Spring 2024 - Autumn 2024)​

  • As a Peer Facilitator (PF), I create lesson plans and will lead sections of approximately 12 students three times over Fall quarter.

    • My goal is to introduce first-year students to the Honors Program and cultivate a sense of community and belonging at the UW and the Honors Program.​

  • As an Honors Student Recruitment Ambassador (HRSA), I empowered current first-year students to apply to the Honors Program. I collaborated with a team of about 10 peers and advisors to spread the benefits of the Honors Program.
